Come and learn about the four distinct phases of the menstrual cycle and the moon* through the archetypal characterisations of Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.
Explore your own experience of your menstrual cycle, or the moon’s cycle, via visualisations, vocalisations, and somatic movement.
We will finish by learning and singing a seasonal-themed round, to experience the uplifting beauty of group singing in harmony.
* Those who do not experience a menstrual cycle will learn how to connect to the moon’s cycle, which also relates to the seasonal archetypes.
This workshop is open to everyone – whether you have a menstrual cycle or not! Everyone can attune to and be affected by different cycles – whether influenced by the menstrual cycle, moon phase, or season. By learning more about these cycles and phases, we can better understand and empathise with why people in our lives may show up and experience life differently week to week – as well as ourselves.
