Charlie Craggs, dubbed ‘the voice of a community’ by Vogue, is an award-winning activist and author best known for her national campaign Nail Transphobia, which uses nails as a catalyst for conversation.

Charlie travels around the UK with her pop up nail salon and squad of trans nail techs breaking misconceptions and making allies over free manis, giving the public a chance to meet and have a chat with a trans person.

In 2016 she topped the Guardians New Radicals list of social innovators in Britain, and has since gone on to be the recipient of a Marie Claire Future Shaper Award, an Attitude Pride Award and a Point of Light Award from the Prime Minister. She is currently working on her second book after the success of her first, To My Trans Sisters.
