On International Women’s Day 2019, Yasaman Aryani, her mother and a friend staged a peaceful protest in Iran against forced veiling. They handed out flowers on a women’s only train carriage without their headscarves. They are imprisoned in inhumane conditions and subject to brutality as a result of these actions.

Come and make flowers, give them to a friend as a sign of peace and freedom. Stand with Yasaman Aryani, because you can.

This is a drop-in craft activity running throughout the day. All welcome. We will be using recycled materials, in line with our climate-emergency theme.
